+ Rihanna will be honored yet again for embodying girl power and being an incredible role model to young ladies. This year, the singer will be celebrated at the annual Parsons Benefit with an honor which "recognizes exceptional individuals who empower young women on a global scale through self-expression and leadership." In the past, Rihanna has been noted for wearing Parsons alum designs at the VMAs and other various outings. Congrats to the bad gal!
+ Mac DeMarco released the surreal visuals for his title track from the upcoming album, This Old Dog. He directed the video himself and, in a statement, described the vision as such: "A devoted dog discovers the meaning of its own existence through the lives of the humans it teaches to laugh and love. Reincarnated as multiple canines over the course of five decades, the lovable pooch develops an unbreakable bond with a kindred spirit named Ethan. As the boy grows older and comes to a crossroad, the dog once again comes back into his life to remind him of his true self.” We're still super confused, but it looks and sounds hella cool.
