Every October, we celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In the U.S., women have a one in eight risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer, so it's vital to take the time not only to raise awareness of the disease, but also to help raise funds that go into research, treatments, and, hopefully soon, a cure.
In addition to the disease-related campaigns and organizations out there, other industries team up to help the cause—fashion and beauty, especially. This year, there are a ton of brands out there that are giving back. Whether they’re donating 10 percent of proceeds on particular items or giving a percentage of their October sales to the cause, every little bit counts.
We rounded up 16 fashion and beauty products that are helping fight this fight, so you can feel good about purchasing in more ways than one.
