Cara Delevingne is proving with each passing day that she’s more than just a model. She starred in Suicide Squad this summer and her activism work is being highlighted with her new initiative with Puma. Now, she’s adding one more line to her resume: author.
That’s right, the 24-year-old has penned a novel, which she announced on her Instagram today. Mirror, Mirror is a “coming-of-age” story, according to Delevingne, that follows four 16-year-old friends trying to weather the storm that is school and relationships. “I love these characters so much, I love what they stand for, what this story represents,” the star wrote on Instagram. “The process of putting this novel together has been life changing and something I hold really close to my heart!! I cannot wait to share with everyone!"
The book is available now for pre-order and officially comes out in October. Delevingne’s invited her fans to form one big virtual book club, also. “Cause I want us to talk about this time in life, self discovery, friendship, pain, triumph!! Being a teenager!! The experiences that shape YOU!” No word yet if Kylie and Kendall, two other A-list YA authors, will be joining.
