Our Favorite Looks From Last Night’s Critics’ Choice Awards
The last awards ceremony of the year certainly did not disappoint
We must say, 2016 has been quite a solid year in terms of red carpet fashion. From the Oscars to Cannes, our favorite stars wore some seriously inspiration-worthy fashion. From Jennifer Lawrence mixing a sweater with tulle to the vampiest of looks à la Krysten Ritter, there were plenty of winners this year (whether they left with an award, or not).
Last night’s Critics’ Choice Awards—the last awards show we’ll be watching this year—was no exception. Celebrating the best in television, these actresses stunned in some of the most gorgeous looks we’ve seen all year. The best part about it? The overall trends were quite the mixed bag. We saw everything from the most intricate beaded and lace gowns to structured pantsuits and frocks, and even a couple of curveball prints and patterns (not to mention, some out of this world beauty looks). All in all, it was a red carpet worth celebrating.

Not only are we obsessed with Evan Rachel Wood’s sleek, black pantsuit by Altuzarra, but we can’t get over her two-toned hair.
Bella Thorne’s sheer, beaded gown by Steven Kahlil was a stunner, but her flame-like ombre ponytail was the real winner here.
Janelle Monáe proves that checker print is red carpet worthy in the coolest gown by Nicci Hou.
Greta Gerwig wore a gorgeous ruffled frock by Gucci and the prettiest finger waves.
Portia Doubleday zigzagged her way down the red carpet in this gorgeous gown by Jenny Packham.
Jessica Biel was the ethereal goddess of our dreams in a gorgeous gown by Elie Saab and boho waves.
Kerry Washington was quite the star in this printed Elie Saab mini dress.
Lily Collins just was the ultimate goth princess in a sheer, bell-sleeve gown by Elie Saab and the prettiest vampy makeup.
Kylie Bunbury was the perfect shade of Greenery in her simple (yet stunning) gown by Kayat.
Nicole Kidman killed it with cutouts in this structured black gown by Brandon Maxwell.
Is it a LBD or a gown? Naomie Harris’ simply stunning mini dress by Stella McCartney was taken to the next level with that floor-length sheerness.
While we loved Allison Williams’ crisscross gown by Balmain, her teal-rimmed eyes stole the show (and gave us plenty of holiday makeup inspo).
Carly Chaikin slayed the whole pants under your dress trend in this look by Thakoon.
