The ‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival Trailer Is Here To Bring You Joy
And maybe a few tears, too
Netflix officially welcomes you back to Stars Hollow. The debut trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is here in all its nostalgic, caffeinated glory.
The four-part revival series takes place 10 years after the final Gilmore Girls episode ends and Rory finds herself jobless. Lorelai and Luke are possibly happy together while queen Emily Gilmore has been bitten by the Marie Kondo bug following the passing of Richard Gilmore, whose giant portrait is bittersweet, to say the least. You'll be pleased to know that the rest of the cast returns, too. It's a hotbed of emotion and sentimentality that, after this political season, gives us something to feel good about for once.
Each of the 90-minute episodes, which debut on Netflix on November 25, will unfold over the course of one season throughout a year. What a perfect treat for post-Thanksgiving binge-watching on the couch with all your leftovers, Chinese delivery, sugary doughnuts, and coffee. Now you have the perfect excuse to truly eat like a Gilmore.
