Gwen Stefani’s Repaired Heart Is The Target In Her New Music Video
watch “make me like you” now
Gwen Stefani has gone through a lot of life changes in the past decade, but none as dramatic as the last six months as we watched her 13-year marriage with Gavin Rossdale come to an end. But the Gwen Stefani we have come to know never lets bad vibes keep her down for too long, and she bounced back with a brand new makeup collection with Urban Decay and rebounded into a budding romance with The Voice co-star Blake Shelton.
Last week, the singer-songwriter announced that she would be releasing a new solo record titled This Is What the Truth Feels Like on March 18 via Interscope Records. Following a post of the album's track list, she dropped the audio for a Shelton-inspired song called "Make Me Like You." (It's basically the polar opposite of "Used To Love You.") Rewind to last night at the Grammys where Stefani not only performed the new single, but also filmed and debuted the official music video live on stage.
The visual was a collaboration with Target and directed by Sophie Muller, who Stefani has a longtime relationship with dating back to her good old No Doubt days. (Muller has worked with Stefani on six—now seven—of her solo videos and seven for No Doubt.) Watch the entire display in the footage, above!
