Hari Nef Proves Pajamas Are Red Carpet Worthy
But only when they’re Louis Vuitton
Last night, amfAR’s seventh annual Inspiration Gala took place at Skylight at Moynihan Station in New York City. The black-tie event helps raise money to benefit amfAR’s fight against AIDS, boasting an auction, a runway show, as well as live performances. As always, the gala was filled to the brim with a mix of best–dressed celebrities, socialites, and fashion industry tastemakers.
However, black-tie doesn’t necessarily mean one needs to wear a gown—just ask rising transgender model Hari Nef.
Nef walked the red carpet in a silky pajama set by Louis Vuitton, paired with a matching scarf and chunky black booties. The matching navy button-down and pants were certainly not your typical PJs, with the scribbled phrase “Volez, voguez, voyagez” patterned across—which was the name of the fashion house’s exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris. Leave it to Nef to bring comfy-chic to the red carpet. Slay, Hari, slay.
If Nef deems pajamas red carpet worthy, then we'll take it as a green light for us to start wearing our favorite sleepwear to the office.
