Ever since they emerged on the scene with the single "Warm On A Cold Night," HONNE attracted us with their sultry odes to romance. Based in London, the duo crafts together the warm and sensual tones of electro-R&B jams. Last year, they released the Warm On A Cold Night EP, followed by their debut Coastal Love EP, and then casually dropped the Over Lover EP (which features one of our favorite singers, JONES). Last month, the masterpiece that is Gone Are The Days (Shimokita Import) made its way into our library and had us feeling extra caught up in the moment.
Today, we're delighted to premiere the music video for HONNE's brand new song, "Woman." Regardless if you have a lover to call your own, this tune will make you love and appreciate yourself even more.
"We wrote 'Woman' between Valentine's Day and International Women's Day last year," HONNE told us in an email. "So on one hand it is a romantic song, but on another it’s about relationships in general and just knowing you are cared for and care for the ones around you, be it a girlfriend, mother, or just a best friend."
