karen o’s big news brightened our day

Saturday night's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony was an all-in-all badass affair. And while Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman and solo artist Karen O wasn't herself inducted, it was a big night for her: She performed a tribute to the late Lou Reed and also announced that she is pregnant with her first child—well, kinda.

According to Billboard, O "revealed wordlessly that she is pregnant with her first child when she walked the red carpet... her rounder belly on full display beneath a studded leather jacket." While we're not ones to comment on "baby bumps" and underneath-a-studded-jacket happenings, we feel as if we have to express the joy that this rumor makes us feel. The Crush Songs singer and her husband, director Barnaby Clay, are quite possibly the coolest couple on the planet and we can only imagine what kind of weird, creative child they will have.
