Kenzo X H&M’s Campaign Features Chance The Rapper, Iman, And More

And it’s shot by Jean-Paul Goude

Back in May, H&M announced one of its most exciting collaborations to date: The brand is teaming up with Carol Lim and Humberto Leon of Kenzo. Since the news broke, neither of the parties involved released further information regarding the collection. Today, the duo broke that silence and dropped a behind-the-scenes campaign video.

Shot by photographer Jean-Paul Goude, the campaign will include an impressive and diverse group. Model Iman and actresses Rosario Dawson and Chloë Sevigny make a brief appearance in the video while musicians Chance the Rapper, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Suboi, and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez round out the lineup.

The images are inspired by ones Goude took in the ‘70s, the photographer explains in the video. “[Lim and Leon] were very clear on what they wanted and they had seen things of mine and they knew so much about the stuff that I was flattered and that’s how it started,” he says. We also get another sneak peek at what the collection will entail. From the looks of it, neon clothes, multicolored prints, very tall beanies, and all of the tiger stripes are coming our way.

The campaign will be released on October 17, ahead of the collection launch on November 3. Until then, you can watch the video featuring Goude below on repeat in anticipation.
