Watch Lady Gaga’s Hollywood Bowl Performances
slay gaga, slay
When first
Lady
Gaga
burst on to the music scene, her over-the-top costumes and avant-garde performances (both on and off the stage) seemed to serve as her defining factors. Over the past couple of years, though,
Gaga
has allowed her voice to take center stage. Taking a step back from the large scale productions that were
Born This Way
and
Artpop
, her jazz renditions on
Cheek to Cheek
and her
Sound of Music
Oscar performance have proved that she is a woman with serious musical talent.
As part of their
Cheek to Cheek
tour, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett hit the stage at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend. The eccentric performer highlighted her seriously stellar pipes and solidified herself as a musical legend, belting jazz classics like "La Vie En Rose"
and Cher's "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)."
The 29-year-old's voice took center stage, outshining her often over-the-top fashion and persona. With that said, Gaga still let her wild side shine through in the bedazzled eyebrows and two-foot wide pink bow.
