Goth On The Red Carpet: The MTV Movie Awards
This year’s best dressed gave off some majorly witchy vibes
Though it is airing tonight, the 2016 MTV Movie Awards were held last night at Warner Brothers Studios in California. Along with celebrating some of the best in film, it's also a moment to celebrate some seriously stunning looks from the red carpet.
It seems that almost everyone this year got the memo that dressing goth was the way to go. However, when we say “goth,” we aren’t referring to safety pins and an affinity for Hot Topic. Some of our favorite celebs showed up to the award ceremony in all black, rocking some seriously witchy gowns (and jumpsuits), opting to avoid any hint of color.
Whether designed by the expected Balmain and Givenchy, to some not-so-common names like Sally Lapointe and Noam Hanoch, we saw everything from sequins and romantic lace to some seriously sexy bodycon pieces.

We love a good jumpsuit on the red carpet, and this cut-out Balmain number that Cara Delevingne chose certainly did not disappoint.
While black was definitely the color of choice on the red carpet this year, Lizzy Caplan decided to stand out with sequins in this gown by Sally Lapointe.
Halle Berry never fails to look incredible on the red carpet. Her bodycon dress by Noam Hanoch featured lace paneling that showed off the 49-year-old's perfectly toned bod.
Charlize Theron absolutely slayed in this romantic frock by Alexander McQueen, which featured the prettiest lace details and an embellished trim.
Jessica Chastain chose this gorgeous floor-length gown from Givenchy Haute Couture, which featured a crystal-embellished lace bustier.
Kendall Jenner stunned in this lace-up Balmain dress, but what we really can’t get over are those shoes. Allegedly, it took multiple people to get them on her.
