Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon + Ilana Glazer Are Girls Gone Wild In The ‘Rough Night’ Trailer

Have you ever wondered how to get a movie green lit in Hollywood? It's a simple formula, really. Just combine one hit movie's logline with another's. Then, get a major movie star as your lead, and surround him or her with a roster of trending supporting players, et voila! You've got a hit movie on your hands.

Take for example, the upcoming raunch-com Rough Night, whose first trailer doesn't do much to hide the fact that it's basically a mash-up of The Hangover and Bridesmaids. Scarlett Johansson (the movie star) plays a bride-to-be who gets dragged to Miami for a bachelorette party by her college BFFs, played by Zoë Kravitz, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer, and Kate McKinnon (the trending supporting players). There's cocaine use, debauchery, and a dead stripper. (The Hangover). There's female bonding that may or may not occur under the influence of alcohol (Bridesmaids). What we're left with is a movie that's like going to be the breakout hit of the summer (The Hangover and Bridesmaids).
