If “Tiny Backpack” Isn’t The Song of Summer, We Quit

We’re almost to August and no single tune has emerged as the official-unofficial song of the summer. Well, the wait is over. Union Bridge Films’ “Tiny Backpack” is here, and there can be no further debate.

Yes, we are fully aware that this is a novelty song, a goof, if you will. We also know that just about every other "song of summer" candidate dwarfs “Tiny Backpack” in terms of production, vocals, lyrical quality, or anything else you can think of. But it’s too late to hate. The hook is stuck in our heads.
