Watch The New ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ Season 2 Trailer

… and strong as hell.

The trailer for the second season of Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has just landed, reminding us of how much we have missed Tina Fey’s absurdist tale of a Pollyannaish young woman rebounding from years in captivity while trying to discover herself in New York City. Basically, it’s Room with all the nasty stuff (and Jacob Tremblay) taken out and replaced by 30 Rock-style gags and the treasurable Tituss Burgess (which sort of begs the question, where’s Ellie Kemper’s Golden Globe?).

Picking up with the same cast—some of whom now have their own brands of pinot noir—we jump back into Kimmy’s life as she tries to find new employment (at an all-year Christmas store), navigates gender-identity politics, falls for a big, hunky dude, and realizes that, yes, kitties and bunnies can be friends. That last one is particularly important. Other than that, we've got Times Square's Elmos doing coke, Tituss being fierce (again), and what seems to be Kimmy attempting to get her degree. It's all the workings of a good sophomore season.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt returns for your streaming, binge-watching pleasure on April 15. That's a Friday, by the way, so you'll have all weekend to sip pinot and take it all in.
