The Best Fashion Moments From The 2018 MTV VMAs
The most eye-catching looks on tonight’s pink carpet
The MTV Video Music Awards red—err, pink—carpet is arguably one of the most exciting of all the awards show carpets. Why? Because the stars basically do whatever the hell they want. Some take major risks while others keep things cool and casual.
On tonight’s carpet, we saw a little bit of everything. While there were plenty of sequins and bedazzled frocks to go around, we were also in the presence of denim, bikini tops, and, well, even a full-on devil costume. (Like we said, risks are taken.)
Check out our favorite looks—which cover the full spectrum from laid-back to full-on glamazon—from tonight’s event, below.
There are literally no words for how incredible our former cover stars Chloe x Halle look in these breathtaking Iris Van Herpen gowns.
Millie Bobby Brown was pure (cool) elegance in this sleek Rosie Assoulin cutout jumpsuit paired with clear PVC heels.
Forget a sparkly dress, Amandla Stenberg went for a full-on ‘70s look in this leather mini and floral turtleneck by Prada.
Could our June cover star Hayley Kiyoko be any cuter in this embellished Stello frock?
It may be hot out, but that didn’t stop Kim Petras from rocking this one-armed sleeve-glove (?!) tiger print Moschino dress.
Grace VanderWaal was the ultimate indie darling in this vintage-inspired sequin Iorane dress and Eugenia Kim beret paired with socks and mary janes.
And the naked dress lives on, this time through Rita Ora’s sculptural Jean Paul Gaultier gown.
Have you seen anything more regal than Amara La Negra in this gorgeous green getup?
King Princess just put Justin and Britney to shame in this denim Adam Selman jumpsuit.
Kylie Jenner was all business in this white Tom Ford blazer dress.
