The internet decided Pennywise from ‘IT’ is gay and he’s dating the Babadook

Today is...

National Live Creative Day!

News of the Day:

+ Hollywood's newest power couple is the Babadook and Pennywise the Clown, as decided by the internet. You might recall the Babadook's adoption as a gay icon by the LGBT community this summer, due to an error on Netflix which led to the movie being listed in the LGBT section of the site. Pennywise is the newest horror-villain-turned-gay icon, and apparently, the two are dating. After all, the physical manifestation of grief and a sewer-dwelling clown that eats children's fears seems like a great fit. See some of the best reaction tweets to the unique pairing, below.

+ It's pumpkin spice season, and no food group is safe. Dairy company Land O'Lakes recently released its contribution to the fall fad with its pumpkin pie spice butter, which is available now at most grocery stores. Some will say it's too far, some will say it's not far enough, but we'd be lying if we didn't all (at least, secretly) want to try it. Pairing it with a PSL might be a little extreme, though.

+ Warby Parker just unveiled its fall collection, and it's a nod to the current runway and streetwear trends like color blocking and mixed materials. The new frames are available now and prices start at $95, which is probably the most affordable sartorial investment you can make this September.

+ Shake Shack is going to be selling a Prosecco milkshake (!) in honor of Will and Grace’s upcoming reboot on September 28. The shake will combine strawberry custard and the bubbly, and will be available to purchase starting September 18. The only downside: the limited-edition treat will only be available at the chain’s Herald Square and Upper West Side locations, as well as in select locations in L.A.

+ If you’re suffering from an empty wallet and can’t get your hands on the recently dropped Fenty Beauty line, don’t fret. Sephora has a pretty amazing, and extensive, sale section aside from their Weekly Wow promotions, which includes deals on products of every category—from skin care to beauty to fragrance and more.

Deal of the Day:

Birchbox turned seven today. To ring in its birthday, the brand commissioned three illustrators to create collectible boxes with designs inspired by the words Birchbox's subscribers use to describe the brand. The icing on top of the birthday cake though is the deals: 20 percent off six- and 12-month subscriptions, $5 off of full-sized products, free samples with every purchase, and 15 percent off of full-size products at the SoHo store where the brand will also be offering free touch-ups. Head to Birchbox's website to get yours.

Advice of the Day:

"When we speak we are afraid our words will not be heard or welcomed. But when we are silent, we are still afraid. So it is better to speak." — Audre Lorde
