MANI MONDAY: NYFW EDITION

forget clothes—check out the best nail art on the runways.

by rebecca willa davis

You didn't think we'd make it through New York Fashion Week and not talk about the nail situation, did you?

Because if there's one thing we can rely on--besides hordes of street style photographers, front row eye candy, and an ever-growing wish list--it's a good manicure.

We haven't been disappointed thus far. While there's been a fair share of nude nails at the spring '14 shows (more on that later in the week), we've also been impressed by the nail art happening. Both Tanya Taylor and Rebecca Minkoff did one-of-a-kind, intricate designs. There have been lots of talon-like nails (see Kate Spade and Honor), as well as plenty of crescent moon manis.

See them all in the gallery below; the good news is that once you pick a favorite, you don't have to wait six months for them to hit stores.
