Here’s Your First Look At The Full Aaliyah For M.A.C Collection

Finally, the moment we have been waiting for: the Aaliyah for M.A.C Collection. After the beauty mogul vaguely announced last August that a collection inspired by Aaliyah was in the works, we couldn’t contain our excitement. In April, M.A.C gave us word on a release date, June 20, and a sneak peek at two of the products from the collection. After several months of teasers, we finally have the first look at the full collection. And it’s the most iconic tribute to the princess of R&B and beauty queen we could have dreamed of. 

The beauty giant is releasing 12 Aaliyah-inspired products featuring lipsticks, lip glasses, lip pencils, eye shadows, and bronzers. Every single product is named after one of Aaliyah's songs, including lipsticks and glasses in “Hot Like” red, “Street Thing” black, “1 in a Million” purple, and “At Your Best You Are” berry. The line also features a nine-shade eye shadow palette mixed with shimmery gold and sultry matte brown colors, and a sun-kissed bronzer in “Baby Girl”—a.k.a., the late singer's nickname.

M.A.C created the collection in response to a fan-created Change.org petition asking for a collection to remember Aaliyah. Now that the we’ve seen the collection, it is safe to say the brand did a pretty stellar job of honoring her.

The entire collection ranges from $17.50 to $32 and every product will be available on M.A.C Cosmetics starting June 20. Check out the full collection in the gallery below.
