Like Acne, Wrinkled Clothes Are Now Fashionable

As confirmed by adidas and Alexander Wang

by Hafeezah Nazim

If you've recently invested in a new iron or mini steamer, you may want to bring it back to the store. Because, according to Alexander Wang and adidas, wrinkled clothes are officially in. Yes, just like acne—another perfectly imperfect trend—wrinkled clothes are having a moment.

Need proof? The newest adidas Originals by Alexander Wang collection is said to be inspired by "factory inconsistencies, irregularities, and imperfections." This means that the drop features perma-wrinkled fabrics, blurred graphics, and spelling errors galore.

But really, making wrinkles fashionable shouldn't come as a surprise, considering that, other than acne, ugly grandpa sneakers and backless shoes have also become a thing.

The collection consists of 13 pieces, including footwear, accessories, and apparel. You can shop it starting April 21 online, and at adidas Originals and Alexander Wang flagships.
