Aerie’s New Lingerie Campaign Features 57 Regular Women

The brand also added body-positive initiatives and tools to its stores

by Katie Intner

Aerie has gone above and beyond in its push for diversity and body positivity. In addition to vowing to go Photoshop-free, the lingerie brand featured models of all shapes, colors, and backgrounds, including those living with disabilities and chronic illnesses, in the past. Next up on the brand's agenda to be more inclusive? A campaign featuring 57 regular women as its models.

Titled Aerie Bras Make You Feel Real Good, the most recent installment of the #AerieReal sees the brand's "most diverse cast" to date, with veteran Aerie Role Models Aly Raisman and Iskra Lawrence also appearing in the campaign.

But, Aerie isn’t stopping there. The brand has added body-positive tools and initiatives to its stores. First up? The Best Fit Finder, a two-step (and way less invasive) bra-fitting service that helps customers find bras they feel best in without just relying on size. In partnership with the National Eating Disorder Association, the brand is also launching its Don’t Change You. Change Your Bra training program to teach the importance of body confidence and create a judgment-free zone in stores. Our favorite initiative, though, is Aerie’s Support In The Fitting Room experience, which allows customers to leave messages and affirmations on sticky notes for the next customer in the dressing room.

It’s safe to say Aerie is killing the body-pos game. Check out the new campaign, below.
