The New ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’ Trailer Is Perfect

This Sunday, many people will be tuning in to watch Beyoncé appear at the Super Bowl. Others will be watching the game for, well, the game. Still another group, however, will be in it for the commercials. To many people's delight, they’ll be transported through the looking glass for a brief-but-beautiful 30-seconds.

A new Alice Through the Looking Glass trailer will air during The Big Game. Naturally, the TV spot has already hit the web. It might be short, but it's pretty perfect. There’s nothing quite like a perfectly orchestrated trailer, right? Just look at The Suicide Squad as example, or the ones for Mad Max: Fury Road as more proof. 

Though this spot doesn’t shed much light on the forthcoming movie’s plot, it teases Alice’s (Mia Wasikowska) return to Underland and her fate with Time, himself (Sacha Baron Cohen). What this trailer doesn’t tell you is that Alice is going through the looking glass to save the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp). There, she’ll encounter old favorites like the Cheshire Cat and the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter).

Alice Through the Looking Glass hits theaters Memorial Day.
