& Other Stories Dropped The Sickest Collab
The brand joined forces with visual artist Shoplifter
Our favorite brand & Other Stories has been killing it with the collaborations this past year. Whether it’s a full collection with luxury cool-girl label Rodarte or a line of accessories with Vans or Zana Bayne, the retailer has been able to team up with just about anyone and create exclusive collections that inspire a cult-like following.
Earlier this morning, the brand launched an entirely new collaboration, and this time, it brings a lot of playfulness, fuzziness, and a touch of whimsy to the normally very tailored and feminine street style brand. Meet & Other Stories x Shoplifter.
The Icelandic, NYC-based visual artist Shoplifter is known for her work with synthetic and human hair to create textile-based pieces and fiber art—from braided murals to tufted hair and moss creations. & Other Stories, who has been following the artist for some time, was inspired to translate her signature pieces from the past two decades into an accessible ready-to-wear and accessories collection—proving just how fluidly art can cross over to everyday fashion. You can, of course, expect a lot of fuzziness dispersed throughout the collection in the form of phone brooches, bags, and sweatshirt appliques, as well as psychedelic tie-dye and watercolor-like prints, crinkly statement earrings and necklaces, and even phone cases.
The collection starts at just $8 for the fuzzy Furtastic Brooch and goes up to $115 for the (ammmazing) Tuft Call Anorak. You can shop the full collection starting today at Stories.com and in & Other Stories stores. Below, take a closer look at the collection in the full campaign.
