How NYC Dresses Up For Back To School

Slay the first day

by Hayden Manders

The first day of anything is a cause for celebration and anxiety. We'd be remiss to say there weren't years where we spent an inordinate amount of time planning our back to school outfits. It's a new year, after all! Starting it off on the right foot puts you in the right frame of mind. And since the streets of New York City and Brooklyn are basically runways in and of themselves, the back to school style here isn't your ordinary homecoming. This is a city bursting with vibrant personalities; it's where all the big fish in their hometown ponds come to become even bigger. And school is, of course, where a solid bit of that education comes along.

So, without further adieu, let's get class started. Aspiring Best Dressed superlatives, this way.
