Suki Waterhouse Turns Badass In New Trailer For ‘Bad Batch’

Bound to happen when you’re surrounded by cannibals

Here’s a plot summary you don’t hear often: a dystopian love story in a Texas wasteland set in a community of cannibals. Do we have your attention?

Ana Lily Amirpour’s Bad Batch centers around Suki Waterhouse as she’s dumped in said wasteland and is forced to fight her way to survival. Where the last trailer introduced us to Waterhouse, a very mustachioed Keanu Reeves, and her gang of misfits, the new peek shows Waterhouse inching her way across the desert on a skateboard with a missing leg and arm. “All the things you’ve done have put you right here with me,” Reeves tells her. Cue scenes of drug use, gun slinging, and a good girl gone bad.

The film also includes appearances from Jason Momoa, Giovanni Ribisi, and Jim Carrey. It’s not going to appeal to everyone, but if you’re even slightly enticed, watch the trailer above. The movie comes to theaters June 23.
