You Can’t Take Your Eyes Off Of Bon Iver’s Latest Visual

“8 (circle)”

We almost thought that the day would never come when Justin Vernon released another Bon Iver record into the world, but alas 22, A Million is here. Since the drop, the group has shared a handful of lyric videos to accompany some of the tracks.

All of the videos for this project were created, produced, and directed by Aaron Anderson and Eric Timothy Carlson. Their latest creation is for "8 (circle)," a mellow tune that gently buzzes on the ears. It's got a jazzy feel to it as Vernon's vocals rise behind all the textured synths and fuzzy horns. Paired with a vibrant array of colors and symbols that flash on the screen, this visual will set your mind at ease.

"8 (circle)" is a clear indicator of Bon Iver's new direction, a new synthetic sound with a heavier bass than the band is typically known for. Nevertheless, Vernon and the gang meets that heavier beat with the soft soothing voices and melodies that first put the band on the map and inspired a million woodland fairy-themed fantasies.

22, Million is available to stream now on Spotify. Watch the immersive visual in the video, above.
