see the new, super-cool #castmemarc campaign

cast via instagram.

Last April, Marc by Marc Jacobs defied industry norms by casting models for their campaign through a new medium—namely, Instagram. Following the success of their first campaign (which generated over 70,000 submissions), MBMJ continued their new media strategy, once again using #castmemarc to find 11 super-rad guys and girls to be the faces of the brand. And they are damn cool.

Much like the models from last season, those hand-selected by designers Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley with casting director Anita Bitton did not (and still do not) have large Instagram followings—only interesting aesthetics and individual styles. The campaign itself, shot by David Sims and styled by Katie Grand, is a candy-colored mashup of prints, textiles, and beauty inspiration—once again, perfect for lining the walls of your bedroom.
