After Montreal-born artist Charlotte Cardin released her debut EP, Main Girl, in September on Atlantic Records, she paid a visit to our office in Manhattan to show off some of the new tunes. Cardin woke us up out of our midday slump with her soulful, stripped-down versions of songs “Big Boy,” “Like It Doesn’t Hurt,” and “Main Girl.” We already loved this model-turned-pop star’s style, but her dreamy music left us on cloud nine.
