‘The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina’ Looks A Lot Spookier Than The Original

The new trailer is packed with enough witchiness to last the entire month of Halloween

Netflix has just revealed a new trailer for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and it's looking a whole lot spookier than the original series that inspired it. Say goodbye to animatronic cat Salem, dopey boyfriend Harvey, and family-friendly sitcom corniness. Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) is still splitting her time between the human and the magical worlds, but there are more consequences to her being unable to commit to the latter one.

To the tune of a jukebox "Happy Birthday," we learn that on Sabrina's Sweet 16, she's forced to choose how she wants to live the rest of her life. Only, she's not about to make that decision. It's not super-clear what the consequences of this choice are, but judging by the way a scary gang of witch teens is yelling at her, it can't be good. Both worlds collide, and Sabrina's dancing around in her birthday dress one moment and performing a ritual around a pentagram in the woods with the aforementioned scary witch teens in the next.

Check out the all-new poster, below, and watch the official trailer, above. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina hits Netflix on October 26, so add it to your Halloween binging list ASAP.
