The MTV Movie Awards are a lot of things, but boring isn’t one of them. Maybe it’s the tight editing, due in part because it was pre-taped. Maybe it’s because people like Chris Pratt weren’t taking themselves too seriously. Pratt’s mere presence at the ceremony was a blessing. Sure, sure there’s the whole eye candy part. That’s to be expected after his role in Guardians of the Galaxy. Unlike most celebrities at other awards shows, though, Pratt was not afraid to be a little playful.
He started it off by hamming it up on the red carpet, making faces for the hoards of cameras and flirting with the idea of taking his shirt off in his red carpet interview.
