Check out the high-energy visuals for their track “Anybody”

Dead Sara have changed a lot since their debut self-titled album in 2012. The alt-rockers' have expanded their soundscape to include synthesizers and electronic drums, honing in on a danceable sound without losing their edge. Today, the band premieres the video to their song "Anybody," off of Temporary Things Taking Up Space EP, exclusively with NYLON.

"Anybody" is the perfect adventuresome, end-of-summer anthem, and the visuals are a perfect match. The band tapped director Cory James Bailey to take on the project after things weren't connecting on the first few shots. "Cory came up with a nonlinear concept that really drew us in because of how much room there was left to collaborate," explained vocalist Emily Armstrong. "By the time we were filming, we probably had 80 percent of it down, and the rest was just, 'We'll figure it out as we go.'"

"We definitely captured that feeling of spontaneity with the car shots," Armstrong added. "There were no seatbelts in that thing, no nothing, and I was driving like a maniac in Downtown L.A. with my band in the car and Cory lying in the trunk under a blanket monitoring the cameras rigged to the outside of the car and yelling directions at us. Rad."
