WHY: Because plain old colored jeans are so yesterday. Just kidding, they're not going anywhere! But color-treated denim is getting a fresh update for fall, thanks to Diesel. The label's new Color Mutation series takes basic skinnies and treats them with a special teal or purple dye. Then, we get to watch as they fade and morph over time as we wear them. Even if you're one of those people who wears all-black everything 99% of the winter (guilty!), the darker hue gives your outfit some color without branching too far from your monochromatic comfort zone. Times are a-changing, you guys...and clearly, so are our jeans.
