Your Favorite ‘Sex And The City’ Accessory Is Making A Comeback

Saddle up

This season's fashion month continues to prove that trends of the early aughts are here to stay. During New York Fashion Week, we got an eyeful of tracksuits courtesy of Juicy Couture, and just earlier this week, during Paris Fashion Week's Dior show, our favorite Sex and the City accessory, the saddle bag, made its runway return.

That's right! Maria Grazia Chiuri's latest collection featured lots of plaid and check separates, teddy coats, and, most excitingly, the logo-adorned it-bag so beloved by Carrie Bradshaw. And though the theme of the collection focused on '60s-era revolution, politics, and female empowerment, the influx of influencers, celebrities, and models rocking the throwback bag on Instagram lately is what reportedly inspired the resurgence on the runway.

And while we're personally not mad at it, some people were not happy to see the bag's return to fashion.

But don't be fooled—the designs weren't just pulled from the French house's archives. The runway debuted new styles of the fashion favorite, including one in black leather and a beaded version.

So... what's next? Low-rise, flare jeans? Bedazzled tank tops? Flower pins? Your move, designers.
