If you’ve been looking for your new summer music obsession, look no further, because indie-soul singer Ella Eyre has got it all.

Killer vocals? Check. Rad songwriting skills? Check. Awesome collaborations? Check and check. (Listen to her on Naughty Boy and Wiz Khalifa’s single “Think About It,” Bastille’s mash-up of TLC’s “No Scrubs” and The XX’s “Angels” for further persuasion). This West Londoner is blowing up right now and we’ve got the exclusive behind-the-scenes video for the making of her music video for “If I Go.”

The clip is set in a gravity-defying room that has Eyre seamlessly dancing on the walls and the ceiling. Her voluminous curly locks and bold pout remain flawlessly in tact in whatever dimension she happens to be dancing on. (Of course, her power-packed vocals are always in key.)

She coordinates her matching black studded top and pants with a pair of Nike kicks, which serves as the perfect ensemble for her anti-gravity shots. Eyre notes how the inspiration behind the music video was that this peculiar room was like a trap between two situations as the two dancers fight for her love. You can also hear the scoop from the director as he talks about how the set is like a giant tumble dryer and the choreographer who recounts on creating the choreography for a moving room.

“If I Go” adds a kick of soul and energy to our summer playlists and we wouldn’t want it any other way. We’re counting down the days until her single drops on July 13 and until then, her music video is destined to be on constant repeat. Your ears will thank you.
