After months of teasers, the new trailer for the Paul Feig-directed Ghostbusters has hit the web, and it looks like everything we'd hoped it would be. While some fans (aka dudes) might be stubbornly loyal to the original flick's all-male squad, the new trailer should help change their thinking, as it highlights the palpable chemistry between Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones—also known as comedy's dream team.
Watching the clip feels akin to watching a great SNL short, with a bigger budget and way more slime. There are tons of callbacks to the original, from the Ecto-1 car to the proton packs, and a brief glimpse of Slimer. The movie is loaded with modern revamps, though, like the fresh EDM take on the theme song and Chris Hemsworth as the team's sexy secretary. Ghostbusters doesn't hit theaters until July 15, but for now, you can watch the trailer above.
