Florence and the Machine Covers the Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love” For Paris
Love is all you need
Florence and the Machine closed out their last concert with a heartfelt cover of The Beatles’ “All you Need Is Love,” which they performed in Paris. With the city still reeling from the devastating terrorist attacks last month, the band also closed out their show with their cover of The Eagles of Death Metal’s song "I Love You All The Time," which they’ve recorded and sold for charity in solidarity with the band.
Check out the footage below to see the band in front of a fluttering French flag singing repeated refrains of "all you need is love," with arms extended towards an audience who need love now more than ever. Indeed, with a year marked by horrific violence all around the world, we appreciate Florence and the Machine reminding us that, indeed, love is all that any of us need.
