Google Unveiled Its New Logo Today

it’s like their old logo but different!

Google unveiled their brand-new logo today, and guess what: It's pretty great. In an official blog post, the tech monolith revealed that the new logo's font—a customized sans-serif typeface called "Product Sans"—isn't just prettier than the old font, but more practical, too.

"As you’ll see, we’ve taken the Google logo and branding, which were originally built for a single desktop browser page, and updated them for a world of seamless computing across an endless number of devices and different kinds of inputs (such as tap, type, and talk)," the post reads.

In other words, Google's new logo is better suited for the variety of ways in which you'll be seeing it: On tiny smart watches, massive smart TVs, and eventually, directly transmitted into your brain.

For a very Google-y look at today's rebranding, watch the vid below, or head to the mothership itself and enjoy today's Google Doodle. It's one of the niftiest ones yet.
