Because nothing is safe from a reboot or sequel, Life-Size 2 is happening. Tyra Banks confirmed its reality via Twitter today. Shout out the channel formerly known as ABC Family—aka Freeform—for bringing it to, uh, life.
“There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much!" Tyra Banks, the TV movie's original star, jokingly told Variety in December 2015 when it was first announced she would reprise the role. Variety reports that the sequel will find Eve waking back up to help a young girl navigate the trials and tribulations of life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. Perhaps she'll learn how to navigate an iPhone's typing function, too.
Expect Life-Size 2 to hit Freeform in December of 2018 as part of its annual 25 Days of Christmas programming. Lindsay Lohan, who played the original owner of the sentient Eve, will likely not reprise her role. Banks has made it clear she has "no idea who is going to be the young person that will be the owner of Eve."
Shine bright, shine far, dear ones.
