Morgan Freeman Ups The Drama With Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself”
his voice can do no wrong
As most already know, actor Morgan Freeman is renowned for his uncanny ability to make any string of words sound sophisticated at the drop of a hat. All he needs to do is, well, speak. This time around, he makes use of his iconic voice by doing a dramatic reading of Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself" during promotion for his new film London Has Fallen.
That's right—instead of crafting a text message or rehearsing a voicemail, you can now simply send the above video link to that terrible ex of yours. Chances are, Freeman's take on the breakup ballad heard around the world, complete with the supplementary array of epic facial expressions, will send the right message. From that initial eye roll to a multitude of perfectly timed deadpanned stares, the interpretation is all we could've asked for and more.
This isn't the first time our ears have been graced with hearing Freeman narrate lyrics to famous songs. After all, how could we forget his rendition of the viral hit "The Fox" by Ylvis? It'd be a crime to overlook his approach to the deeply poetic lyrics of that track as well.
Now if only we could get him to narrate our lives as he so flawlessly did on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
