video exclusive: nick offerman’s thoughts on womanhood

he thinks women should run the world, too

As Ron Swanson on NBC's dearly departed sitcom Parks & Recreation, Nick Offerman elevated masculinity into a kind of religion. To him, steak wasn't just a piece of meat—it was a holy relic to be worshipped (and then scarfed down). So it only made sense that when we got the 44-year-old actor in front of a camera—sporting some great, bizarro Ron Swanson facial hair—that we'd ask him his thoughts on womanhood. Offerman's considered response touches on wage inequality between genders and basically says that if women were running the world, it would probably be a better place. Can't argue with that.
