Noah Cyrus Makes Her Music Video Debut In “Make Me (Cry)”

Watch out for Noah

by Sydney Gore

Billy Ray Cyrus must be incredibly proud of himself because his offspring are taking over the music industry. Obviously, Miley has been the most successful of the lot, but you can't overlook Trace's influence with Metro Station. Noah, the youngest sibling, is finally giving it a go, and we're not surprised that she's on the path to superstardom.

Last week, Noah shocked the world with her single "Make Me (Cry)," and now she's gone and dropped the accompanying music video. In the Sophie Muller-directed visual, the teen delivers her duet with Labrinth. “As soon as I heard the song, I wanted to do it,” Muller told DAZED. “I loved her voice on it and thought it was so arresting and brave sounding.”

The singers recite their verses in different frames on a bed while their lovers remain sound asleep. It almost makes you wonder if this has ever happened to you while you were deep in a state of sleep. The drip-drop noise is a nice effect to represent fallen tears, the result of an internal struggle dealing with vulnerability.
