Obviously New York Fashion Week is exciting for so many reasons: Going backstage to experience the beauty looks come to life, sitting for the show, running around New York City, celeb spottings, etc. But my area of expertise is backstage beauty--and with that comes photographing, finding, and discovering new and old models every season (to share with you guys--duh!). This season my model favorites were Cristina Piccone, Yana Shmaylova, Adesuwa Pariyapasat, Maggie Maurer, Isabella Farrell, Tory Whiteside, Aine O'Gorman, Staz Lindes, Dorith Mous, Stephanie Cam, Gigi Hadid, and Mick Szal, to name a few.
I also decided to try something different this season: In addition to my handy, dandy iPhone 5, I also stocked up on disposable cameras and brought them along with me to document all the craziness that goes on behind-the-scenes.
