NYFW Street Style Bows Out With Grace

That’s all she wrote

Another NYFW, another week of intensely searching for the coolest street style moments the city has to offer. This season hit all the sweet spots: bold color, wild patterns, and, refreshingly, not many people jumping on the same trends. (Is it just us, or were we expecting to see more people draping their oversized jackets around their elbows?) Original and playful style dominated the streets, in between shows and on the runways.

It's a privilege to even take in the activity around Fashion Week; the inspiration for day-to-day style is endless. While spring and summer styles were on display inside the designers' spaces, fall style ruled outside. Count on us to apply all the tips and tricks we've seen this week to the coming months. Until then, it's off to Europe! There's still three more weeks of shows to behold, after all.

"Don't wear a necklace as a headpiece," they said. "It'll look funky," they said. How very wrong they were.
