Absolut Crafted A Custom Cocktail To Celebrate NYLON’s 18th Anniversary

A go-to drink is a good thing to have: Carrie Bradshaw indulged in cosmopolitans, Ernest Hemingway enjoyed mojitos, and James Bond could never turn down a vodka martini (that’s shaken, not stirred).

So, to celebrate NYLON’s 18th anniversary, Absolut crafted a custom signature cocktail for us. Using our favorite pink hue (plus the NYLON vibe) for inspiration, Pernod Ricard national mixologist Kevin Denton concocted the Bubble Bomb, a fun, fizzy beverage with a generous scoop of strawberry gelato. 

Possibly the coolest part is how the drink’s flavor changes over time as the ice cream melts. Because, after all, a NYLON girl is always evolving. 

BUBBLE BOMB

Ingredients:

1 1/2 parts Absolut Lime Vodka

1/2 part simple syrup

1 scoop strawberry gelato

3 parts Mumm Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine

strawberry slices (to garnish)

Method:

Add vodka, simple syrup, and gelato to a wine glass. Top with sparkling wine and strawberries.
