Most Wanted: Echo Club House Denim Beret

A French-girl staple meets street style

We here at NYLON love a good beret moment. The beret is what we consider the ultimate outfit-topper because of how it takes every look to the next level. And lucky for us, Los Angeles-based clothing store Echo Club House has raised the bar even more.

Echo Club House has taken the silhouette we know and love and added a fun spin to it by creating a beret in a denim fabric. Not only is the fabric change a welcome shift for summer (because who wants to wear wool on their head in sweltering heat?), but it gives a more casual feel.

The one-size-fits-all hat is made in a light blue fabric, so you can match it to your denim cutoffs this season or forego the denim outfit and leave the beret to be your sole representation of the iconic fabric.

If you need inspiration of how to style it, look to some of our favorite iconic beret-wearers: Cher Horowitz from Clueless, Judy Funnie from Doug, and Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl

Echo Club House Denim Beret, $16.50, available at the NYLON Shop.

Lights off

"Our decision to recall this product is being made out of an abundance of caution," Neutrogena shared in a recall statement on its website, adding that the product is still safe when used once a day, as directed. While the brand does acknowledge the potential damage to the eyes, Neutrogena insists that this is "rare, generally mild, and transient."

Because Pennywise, of course

Warner Bros. Pictures just dropped the final trailer for It Chapter Two, and it's very bloody. Though it takes place decades after the events of the 2017 film, that doesn't mean that the "Losers" are free of Pennywise's horrors.

Was it worth it to see how you'd age?

If you've been on social media lately, you'll know that the latest craze is using an app called FaceApp to see what you'd look like as an old person. And, while the photos are pretty funny, they do come with the cost of your own privacy. FaceApp now has the access to names and photos of over 150 million people, according to Forbes, and it can pretty much do anything with this information.
