Watch One Direction’s ‘Drag Me Down’ Video

we have lift off

When One Direction released "Drag Me Down," their first single without Zayn Malik, most people, including us, assumed it was a jab at their former brother. It turns out everyone, including us, were wrong. "Drag Me Down" is actually a defiant anthem against none other than gravity, as evidenced by the song's new video, which the 1D boys shot at NASA.

In the clip we see Harry, Niall, Louis, and Liam—still weird without Zayn tbh—being trained in NASA's spiffy facilities for what we can only assume is a mission to Mars in an effort to rescue Matt Damon. Eventually the boys trade in their skinny jeans and suit up in those orange space suits from Armaggedon, do the requisite slo-mo walk towards their spacecraft, and blast off into orbit. We await gravity's response.
