This Pokémon Lingerie Collection Is What You Really Need In Your Life

Gotta catch ‘em all

Pokémon is all grown up. No, really—the Pokémon Company is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. And as it enters its third decade of existence, it is branching out into a more mature venture: lingerie.

Shack News reports that the Pokémon Company is collaborating with Yummy Market, a Japanese retailer, on a line of Pokémon-inspired sleepwear, including undies, pajamas, a robe, a sleep mask, and a Pokéball toiletries bag. Sadly, the plush Pikachu bras and panties used in the promotional image for the line will not be for sale—but a girl/aspiring Pokémon master can dream, right?

Since the first Pokémon games were released in the mid-’90s, the earliest players of the Gameboy game are now fully adults, and can easily be considered the demographic for this certifiably cute collection. Players of Pokémon Red and Blue, this one is for you. The Pokémon-themed collection will go on sale at Yummy Mart on April 20, and it will also be available in various retailers—all likely in Japan. But if there’s anything to be learned from years of playing Pokémon, it’s that not all things are easy to catch. With a good dose of confidence and hard work, it becomes possible, though not always easy, to catch ‘em all.
