The fashion industry doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to being environmentally conscious. In fact, it’s currently the second most polluting industry in the world. The time to start implementing more responsible and ethical modes of production is now, and thankfully, a number of fashion brands have began to take action.
While some pretty impactful changes have been announced as of late, such as Gucci going fur free, there are also the brands that have a sustainable ethos at their core. One of our favorites is Reformation.
The brand just dropped some pretty exciting news: It’s launched a sister line of denim and basics that’s just as epic and sustainable as it’s core line, and it’s also super affordable. The 46-piece collection called Reformation Jeans is essentially a more casual, laid-back version of Ref’s dreamy Californian vibe, proving that you can be both fashionable and a friend to the planet. If that’s not enough of a reason to hop on board, get this: all products are made from 100 percent recycled materials, dead-stock fabrics, or sustainably sourced fibers, and priced between $28 and $128. We’ll take one of everything, please.
