Today, the world was given a great gift: Rihanna's cover of Madonna's 1990 song "Vogue" leaked. With practically identical beats and melodies, this new version doesn't stray from the original, aside from Rihanna's slightly sweeter vocal indulgences.
Admittedly, we're not huge fans of covers that are so literal—we'd much rather hear a new, original take on a classic song. That being said, there's really only so much moxie one can have when covering an iconic Madonna song, even if that somebody just so happens to be Rihanna.
The one thing we wouldn't be opposed to: a black and white video remake, pose for pose. Here's hoping there's one on the way.
