Rihanna Absolutely Slays As A Punk Princess In These Incredible Photos
The Humanitarian of the Year covers ‘Paper’ Mag’s latest issue
Rihanna has never been one to play by the rules. She often throws us for a loop with her sartorial choices, whether she’s feeding pigeons at 7am in a giant fur heart or changing up her hair into something totally surprising and inspiring. Her latest look, however, has us really shocked (in the best possible way, of course).
We never thought we’d see Harvard’s Humanitarian of the Year donning liberty spikes (and green ones, at that), but once we caught glimpse of Paper Magazine’s March issue, we realized that Ri Ri maintains her status as a person upon whom literally everything looks good.

In the latest cover shoot for Paper’s #BreakTheRules issue, shot by Sebastian Faena and styled by Farren Fucci and Shannon Stokes, Rihanna lives up to her bad gal reputation. Posing in a gritty New York City bodega in Alphabet City, she rocks some of springs freshest piece in a totally punk-inspired look. This means all the mesh, bedazzled denim, and piercings (even a faux-eyebrow ornament!) you could possibly want.

And, in our opinion, there’s nothing more punk than grabbing a 40 oz of Old English from the bodega in a tweed Chanel skirt suit—especially if you're wearing it with nothing underneath.
